From buildings, people, and cultural monuments to animals, art and philosophical thoughts. Fact: Hamburg was the most bombed German city during WWII. It was bombed more times than Berlin. The bombings lasted 7 days and the goal was to destroy this major city which was one of Germany's main ports for goods and merchandise as well as ship maintenance and repair.
